Who is responsible for the data

Analytics (Google Analytics)

To understand which pages are read, the site uses Google Analytics 4 by Google LLC. In the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it starts only after you agree in the banner: until then Google’s scripts are not loaded and no data is sent to Google, and if you reject analytics or make no choice, it stays that way. In other countries analytics is on from the start, and you can switch it off at any time with the “Privacy choices” button at the bottom of the page. Your region is guessed from your browser’s time zone, without any request to an outside service; if it cannot be told, or your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we ask for consent.

After you agree, anonymous data is collected: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate country or city, and the referring site. The site does not collect names, email addresses or other data that directly identifies you.

• _ga and _ga_* — Google Analytics visitor identifiers, kept for up to 2 years.

Google may process this data on servers outside your country, including in the USA. Retention inside Google Analytics does not exceed what is set in its settings. More in Google’s description.

What is stored in your browser

• theme (localStorage) — your choice of light or dark theme. Needed for the site to work and never sent anywhere.
• cc_cookie — the record of your banner choice, kept for up to 6 months.

Legal basis and managing consent

In the EU, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland analytics runs on the basis of your consent; elsewhere, on our legitimate interest in understanding what is read on the site. You can change or withdraw it at any time with the “Privacy choices” button at the bottom of the page; withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of processing before that.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing, or withdraw consent. To do so, write to jungle.romabb8@gmail.com. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country (in Ukraine, the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights).

Links to social networks and other sites lead to third-party resources with their own privacy policies. The site is not responsible for them.
